Do You Need training in PAT Testing? PAT Testing Expert run many courses across the UK. We usually run several courses each year at Sheffield, so there is probably one coming up soon! Check out the dates page to find out more. You don't need to be a qualified electrician to be good at PAT testing - all you need is a willingness to learn and a little common sense. You'll learn all you need to get started - lots of information to take away, and of course follow up information and support as well.

Our trainer, Tim James, has been involved in the field of PAT testing for more than 20 years - you will be learning from a seasoned pro and an expert!

The PAT Testing training course is certificated, and we provide all of the materials and equipment for the course. However, if you have already purchased a PAT tester you are welcome to bring it with with you - we'll show you how to get the best from it. Otherwise we'll give you unbiased information about the best machines to buy! At the end of the day - you'll be able to carry out PAT Testing in your own premises, or even offer a PAT Testing Service to your customers! We can even help you if you are thinking of setting up a PAT Testing Business!

PAT Testing Expert are the only training company to use high quality venues for our courses - we don't use poky training rooms on industrial estates, and we don't hold our courses in Travelodges either! Our events are all held in high quality hotels, with excellent facilities. All of our training rooms are large enough for the practical work, air conditioned and comfortable. Our Sheffield course is held at the fabulous Sheffield Hilton - a spectacular venue, close the the city centre, but also accessible by car - FREE car parking is available on site when you book on the course. Please also remember that our course fees INCLUDE all the tuition, handbooks and reference material (you'll take away a package of useful information) and we also include lunch and refreshments during the day.

The Sheffield Hilton is a few minutes in a taxi from the main railway, bus or tram stations in the city centre. Parking is available on site, and is included in the course fee.
