The venue is easy to get to - just two miles north of Edinburgh centre, close to Ocean Terminal and the old port area of Edinburgh Leith. All of PAT Testing Expert's courses are taught by Tim James - widely regarded as the UK's leading expert in the field of PAT Testing, and who has been working in the field for 25 years! Our courses are not lectures, but interactive training events with a combination of theory and practical. We provide access to a range of industry standard PAT Testers, so you can learn on a standard machine. If you have a PAT Tester already you're welcome to bring it with you and if not, we'll give you the best advice on choosing a suitable machine. We cover testing of all portable appliances, including IT equipment, industrial equipment including 3 phase, power tools including 230V and 110V as well as domestic and commercial equipment. If it's got a plug on, it needs testing. If it needs testing, we'll show you how to do it! We usually run several courses each year at Edinburgh, so there is probably one coming up soon! The PAT Testing training course is certificated, and we provide all of the materials and equipment for the course - including professionally printed course handbook and lots of other materials.

Our PAT Testing course in Edinburgh is held at the Holiday Inn Express - this venue has a comfortable training room (air conditioned) with great facilities. A buffet lunch is provided, as well as plenty of tea, coffee and cold drinks during the day. The venue also offers free parking. If you're travelling from outside Edinburgh we would suggets that you get a taxi to the hotel from the railway station, or you can get a bus there from various locations in the City Centre.
