The great thing about this venue is that it is on the South Bank of the Thames in Rotherhithe - which means it's easy to get to by car and there's free parking on site. If you are driving from Kent or Sussex it's easy to find and you don't have the hassle of driving into the city. From Central or East London, or from Essex, you can drive through the Rotherhithe tunnel or over Tower Bridge without entering the congestion charge zone.

If you are planning to attend by public transport, there is a free courtesy bus to the hotel from Canada Water station (on the Jubilee and East London lines) or you can catch a ferry straight to the door of the hotel from Canary Wharf!

Tim James is your trainer for the day - he has worked for more than 20 years in the PAT Testing business, and is considered to be the leading expert in the UK on PAT Testing. Our course is designed to give you the right mix of knowledge and experience - giving you the chance to learn on real PAT testing machines, testing real equipment. We cover all of the legal requirements as well as teaching you everything you need to know about the theory. In addition, you will receive plenty of hands-on experience, giving you the confidence and the competence to carry out PAT testing at the end of the day.

You will be competent to carry out PAT Testing at the end of the day, and you will receive a certificate. Because we run the course with small, closely supervised groups, we can use a system of continuous assessment during the day. If any person is struggling on any issue, we can go over that subject in a little more detail before moving on. In this way, we can ensure everyone reaches the required standard during the day, without having to resort to a written 'test.'
